SAE TORINO GROUP
On September 23rd, 2008 a new venue in Torino of SAE International - Aerospace was inaugurated.
SAE Torino Group creation was possibile thanks to Torino Chamber of Commerce together with other institutions on the territory such as Universities, Politecnico di Torino, Research Centers, Employers' Association of Turin and the Municipality of Torino endeavours focused on giving the territory manufacturing excellences a wider visibility and the opportunity of meeting new potential partners and develop business relationships with the SAE associated companies all over the world. Their aim was supported by a thirty years presence of the Piedmontese companies to SAE World Congress and Exhibition and their increasing liking to present technical papers.
All the companies of TORINO PIEMONTE AEROSPACE project have been then enroled as members of this prestigious network to exchange information, ideas and experiences components, systems and aircraft engineering improvement on a technical and a technological level.
They can also consult for free by the Torino Chamber of Commerce the whole set of SAE Aerospace Standards and Aerospace Material Specifications.

Aerospace Technical Committee are going to be organised on the territory together with participation in different SAE Aerospace Congress and Exhibition.
Technical papers presented by Piedmontese companies are the result of a close cooperation between aerospace industry and Politecnico di Torino - Head Department of Aerospace Engineering. On this purpose the project involved its member companies to participate to SAE Aerotech Congress & Exhibition in Seattle on November 10th - 12th, 2009 where it took part by presenting a paper: Torino Piemonte Aerospace - Strategic Planning Model for SMEs (paper nr. 2009-01-3153) - section 09ATC61 - 0380 Business/Economics - Business Models and set up a contact booth (813) on the exhibition area for TPA companies attenting the Congress by presenting a paper too:
