The Torino Chamber of Commerce is a public body which, in addition to its purely administrative functions such as maintaining a register of companies, promotes the growth of the local economy by offering services and undertaking initiatives dedicated to the companies in the province, numbering over 230.000. Overseas companies can contact the Chamber to get information about starting a company in Torino or finding a partnership. Particularly important are some projects dedicated to the leading sectors in the area, such as the automotive, ICT and aerospace.
Piemonte Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism is an organization based in Torino, Italy, working to strengthen the international development of the region by increasing the presence of local companies on international markets, attracting foreign investments and promoting worldwide the regional tourist offer, products and services. The Agency, founded in December 2006, gathers all activities run by local institutions operating in favour of the internationalisation of the territory. It has been operative since April 2007 when the Foreign Trade Office - Piemonte Chambers of Commerce (since 1976 supporting the international economic relations of SMEs from Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta) merged into the new institution
